Unlike in recent years, the weather was kind to us and we were able to hold our annual Ladies Open competition on September 11th without any interruptions. Thank you to all who played.
The winners were:
1. H. Armstrong, A. Coale and J. Eastwood (38 points on a card play-off)
2. G. Healey, J. Huwley-Graham and J. Jolly (38 points)
3. P. Keeling, G. Watmore and M. Fishwick (36 points on a card play-off)
The raffle winners were Janet Edwards. Helen Armstrong, Denise Brigham, Joan Warburton, Diane Eagleston and Pam Semhi. Caroline Massey won the "guess the number of golf balls" prize.
Once again many thanks and we shall look forward to seeing you next year on Friday, 10th September.
The 2027 Hale Golf Club Ladies Autumn Open will be held on Friday September 10th. The competition is open for booking and will follow the usual format:
* 9 Hole Stableford to be played over the Front 9
* To be played in teams of three
* Two scores to count
* Refreshments will be available throughout the day
